At MPS, we love animals and assure you that your pets will be safe and well-cared for in our hands. We will even leave you a note telling you how everything went, just so you have piece of mind. In addition, MPS is a member of Pet Sitters International and is insured and bonded, which protects your home and personal possessions.

- We use 100% biodegradable bags to dispose of pet waste
- At invoicing time, we email your invoice to you (unless you request otherwise)

Mindy Mailman
Owner & Pet Sitter/Dog Walker
Originally from Maine, I moved to Jamaica Plain to seek out new adventures and opportunities. After the loss of my beloved golden retriever Jack, I found myself drawn to the pet service industry. I started taking care of my friends’ pets while they were away on vacations and thought how great it would be if I could turn my new found love into a business. After a few online ads and interviews, I created Mailman’s Pet Service. Established in 2005, we now offer dog walking, playgroups (transporting your dog to the local dog parks for an hour of playing catch, running and wrestling), pet sitting and cat sitting services, seven days a week. My wife Erin left her 9-5 life to work with me and it’s now a family business! We are continuing to grow- but will always remain a small local business in order to provide the more personalized care that JP residents look for.

Pam Bellarose

Pam loves animals and is pictured here with her three-year-old Rat Terrier, Emma. She also has a sixteen-year-old Jack Russell Terrier named Sparki who was too shy to appear here. Pam has been working for MPS since 2009 and is dedicated to enhanced customer service. That's why she created this easy-to-use website and an efficient invoicing system that makes doing business with MPS a breeze!
